Hi, I’m looking for a device that can track my fleet. I"m suspecting my driver of some wrongdoing like carrying other people’s goods without permission.
I’m living in Indonesia, so I don’t think normal GPS tracking device will work here since Google earth and other mapping system do not have a complete map of the area. But I’m willing to listen to any suggestion.
Or maybe there is a spycam or security camera that I can monitor from the internet. Since I’m delivering goods to other states (over 100-200km) away, is there any wireless security camera that can work that far?
I’ll listen to any suggestions. Thanks

I live in Ecuador, therefore I need a GPS/GSM tracking device that I can use in my country for free.
My idea is to hide this device in my car, and if my car is stolen by thieves then I could send a text message to it and receive the data from this tracking device to my cel, then I could search its location in Google Earth/Maps.
Is there in the market some GPS/GSM tracking device I could use on my country??
As I live in Ecuador it won’t work a device that needs a monthly/anual plan with any tracking company, so I need for free.

ok so heres the deal i come out of school and see my itouch not in my bookbag and my zipper open,, ok big woop someone stole it.,,,, but recently i had an app on it called gps tracker provided by instamapper,,,
so recently i remembered i had that so i go online and decide to see if its still on tracking mood or shut down…. now my luck it says live tracking and its showing the block ahead of me?? so im like wtf someone down the block robbed me and is enjoying it right now?? so i was wondering if i can call the cops to my house and if i give them the source will they help??

ok. you live in texas, somewhere in the border of texas and mexico. you decide to make payments on a car. you know very well that if you stop making payments, the company will come and take your car. what if you stop making payments and park this car in texas? can the company go into another country to get it? this is assuming that the car has GPS tracking.

So, I have gps tracking on my boyfriends phone. He started to give me different stories about where and what he was doing on his birthday weekend..but couldnt pin point exactly where he was going. he hinted a few times during the week before this happened that he may be so drunk that he wont be able to drive home. This is when I said, If that’s the case then I will come pick you up when u are ready to come home..I also mentioned that a man of his age should be past getting so drunk that he could nt get home after a night of hanging out…this dudes almost 40. After these conversations he then decided that he wasnt going to go anywhere..that he was going to stay in the house. So, after telling me that he was going to stay in he decides before I get in the house to write me a note explaining that he was going to spend time with his family a good 30 minutes from where we live..he said, Ima go hang out with my fams, they want to take me out for my bday i will be in around 2pm or so..i love you.
When I found this note I called his phone a couple time..no answer…I tried over and over no answer. I knew in my gut that this stories all week were off so I checked the gps on the at & t phone plan that we have and the gps tracked him 10 minutes from where we live…ALL NIGHT LONG..i checked every hour on the hour. Now, I know u are asking, did u go out and try to find him..yes I did but the gps only pinpoints a phicinity never an accurate spot but i checked when i got in and all night long it said the same thing..same location he was not where he said he would be. Which leads me to believe that he was probably out recieving a birthday screw from someone else.. (do i sound crazy? C’mon..so, he rolled in the next morning with some excuse about how he left the phone in the car.
I asked him if he enjoyed himself and he said yes, I asked him if he drove his car to the place he told me he was going and he said yes..so i told him, it’s funny because my gps tracked u not too far from here…so, where were u? of course, he lied and said he was exactly where he told me he was..and that at & t are wrong…that they are not always correct.
So, I already know the deal with this dude i thought that i would humor you all on yahoo answers..Here’s my question..How accurate do you think the phone gps is…
Guess it’s time to kick him to the curb..and guess what, he will not budge with his story..he will not budge. The GpS company is just wrong according to him…
